DAY 1 Guangzhou to Beijing

None

We will book your flight according to your own schedule. Upon arrival in Beijing, our local Beijing tour guide will pick you up and take you to the hotel.

Transfer to the airport in Guangzhou will be your own arrangement. We offer one at USD35 per person (based on a group of 2 travelers), and please contact us if needed.
For an interesting way to travel, you can also book an overnight train or high-speed train to Beijing.

DAY 2 The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Hutong Tour in Dongcheng District, The Southern Gong and Drum Lane

Breakfast, Lunch

Take a morning stroll on Tian'anmen Square and get into the Forbidden City, where you will learn about the ups and downs of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

After lunch, we will take a rickshaw ride in Hutong and walk along the artful Nanluogu Xiang Hutong. Stop by a pearl store before the day ends.

DAY 3 Temple of Heaven, Mutianyu Cable Car(One way), The Mutianyu Great Wall

Breakfast, Lunch

In the early morning, we will visit the holy altar for the royal family: the Temple of Heaven. Later, drive out of town to the Great Wall at Mutianyu Section. You will enjoy a one-way cable car ride at this scenic section.

Visit a cloisonne factory before heading back to the city.

DAY 4 Summer Palace, 798 Art District, Exterior visit of Beijing Olympic Stadiums(Bird's Nest and Water Cube), Beijing to Guangzhou

Breakfast, Lunch

Once a private property of the royal court and now a public park to all, the Summer Palace is a nice place to visit. Later, we will admire some up-and-coming artworks at 798 Art Zone. Visit Beijing's new symbols, at Bird's Nest and Water Cube.

Later today, you will be flying to Guangzhou. Our local Beijing tour guide will see you off at the airport. Transferring to Guangzhou will be your own arrangement.
