Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 Entrance City to Guilin, Flight not included

Upon arrival in Guilin, your guide and driver will pick you up from Guilin Airpot/Trian Station, then transfer you to your Guilin Hotel.

DAY 2 Tianxin Village, Daxu Ancient Town, Huixian Glass Land

Breakfast and lunch

Today's tour starts early in the morning. Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Guilin and transfer you to Tianxin Village. The place is surrounded by mountains with an unmistakable rustic charm. Oldman finished farm work, flicked his water buffalo with a whip, and crossed the field or bridge with mountain views as a backdrop.

Then, take a one-hour drive to Huixian Glass Land, climb up the halfway hill, and capture the nature views of water reflections on rice fields with rolling peaks as the backdrop.

Lunch is arranged at a local rice noodle restaurant, taste the most authentic Guilin noodles.

In the afternoon, time to take pictures of old towns with wooden houses and people portraits. knock on the door of Mr. Zhou’s house, he is an old craftsman in Daxu ancient town (1 hour from Guilin downtown), photo of an old man doing craftwork under natural light dates back to old times.

Back to the Guilin hotel for a stay tonight.

DAY 3Guilin to Longsheng to Guilin

Breakfast and lunch

Tour start at 8 am and takes 2 1/2 hours to Longji, the best view is in September to October which is the harvest time of rice, the golden color range from the bottom to the mountain top layer upon layer, stand on top seeing the view from that perspective, your guide will take in some really enjoyable aspects off the beaten track.

Portraits of Zhuang and Yao Ladies. Visit one of the local families, and see the household wearing custom embroidery with a special hairstyle, time left wrinkles on her face. Sit down and chat with them, and have a better understanding of their culture.

Have lunch in a restaurant in Longji, taste their traditional food - Bamboo Roasted Rice.

Back to the Guilin hotel for a stay tonight.

DAY 4Yangshuo

Breakfast and lunch

Today’s tour starts early at 3:30 am. Catch the monument of sunrise and the bend of Li River. The best spot for a picture is in Xianggong Mountain, a 1 1/2 hours drive from Guilin, climbing up 50 meters staircases to the platform and waiting for the right time to shoot.

Why start early today: it takes a 1 1/2 hour drive to Xianggong Mountian, and the earlier, the easier it is to find the best angles. Every day, photographers from all over the world hash there early just for the best shot.

About the weather: your guide will check the weathercast for the time of sunrise the night before the tour. We have another alternative if heavy rains.

Head to Yangshuo countryside for the picture of an old stone bridge – Fuli Bridge, a 500-year-old stone arch bridge crossing above Yulong River, mirroring like a hold reflects mountain landscape in the middle.

The Best highlights of the day are the Fisherman with the Cormorant and a spectacular sunset view on Li River. We drove 50 minutes to Xingping Town to catch this picture in the afternoon. We pay for local fishermen, a port at the bank of the river, a casting net, and a gas lamp at nightfall. We finish today at around 8:00 pm (summertime).

Stay overnight in Yangshuo; don’t arrange any trains/flights for today.
