Meet your guide at the Guilin International Airport/train station, then transfer to the hotel in Guilin.

• If you want to hang out at night in Guilin, Zhengyang Pedestrian Street at Zhongshan Road will be a good choice. Just remember to keep an eye on your stuff while strolling.

• Breakfast and lunch

The best way to have Guilin imprinted in your memory is to be in the picture. Today, you will take a 4-hour boat trip down the Li River. You will arrive in Yangshuo at 13:00-14:00.

After arriving in Yangshou, check into your hotel and have a short rest.

Explore Yangshuo country sightseeing by riding a bicycle. Biking alongside the paddy fields and orchards that surround the famous mountains will give a fascinating insight into life in rural China.

Go back to Guilin after dinner on your own.

Good to Know

• Don't miss Yangshuo's authentic dish - Beer Fish. There are countless restaurants claiming themselves to be the best, however, local people tend to dine in small restaurants instead of the big ones.

• Breakfast and lunch

This morning, you will start with a fresh coffee at your hotel. Later, drive to Longsheng, where the famous Longji Rice Terrace is located.

Bamboo-stuffed rice and oil tea is a traditional food in Longji. You have a chance to learn how to make them (choose one to learn) and are hosted by a local family.

You will be back in downtown Guilin after lunch. Free night to relax.

• Breakfast and lunch

In the morning, break the heat and get into Reed Flute Cave. The grotesque shape of stalactites and stalagmites are definitely worth seeing.

Last stop for today: Your guide will arrange a visit to a local farmers' market, where you can observe locals going about their daily lives.
