Comfortable Clothing

Bring some short sleeved t-shirts and light trousers/shorts if you plan on being outside. The night time temperature can dip below 19 (66), which might be chilly if it’s windy, so also bring a jacket or a layer or two.

Special Considerations

It’s still a good idea to bring some sun protection (hat or sunblock), as there is quite a lot of direct sunlight in Hong Kong in this season.

November considers the bloom season in Hong Kong, the beautiful flowers make for great viewing, but those with allergies should bring something for the ubiquitous pollen.

November sees a lot less holidays than October, but keeps the cool breezes, clear skies, and inviting warmth. This makes November one of the best times to visit the city- hotel prices aren’t too high and transportation is easier to get. Make sure to book in advance though, as it is still part of the tourist high season thanks to the inviting climate.

November is without a doubt the time to get outside and explore. Whether hiking, hitting up the beaches, going out on a traditional Junk boat, or simply exploring the city, you can do so comfortably. The ocean temperature is still warm, making for great swimming.
